If you're looking for a cheap place to sleep(around 20-25 US$), you'll find about a dozen resthouses and pensions around Honiara. The Bulaia Backpackers Lodge in Chinatown, for example, has a couple of very neat rooms to offer. The only thing that is shared is the kitchen. A bit more expensive are the rooms at the Solomon islands Credit Union Leaue, in New Chinatown. Each of them is sink-provided. Basic condiction, very cheap.
